WILLY ADAMES CUSTOM GEAR
MLB PLAYERS WEEKEND 2025
Two baseball bats and one logo. My custom hand panted and digitally drawn designs were chosen for the Golden Goose x Willy Adames collaboration for the 2025 Players Weekend. My bats were used during a professional MLB game along with my logo being featured on all his custom gear and designer clothing seen on MLB's official instagram.

ABOUT
For the MLB Players Weekend, I was one of four artists selected within all of Golden Goose to submit designs for the designer brands collaboration with the San Fransisco Giants star player, Willy Adames. In the end, two of my bat designs were chosen for the three-day event. With each day having different themes, the ones I was going off of were for the “Golden Gate” day bat and the “Love” day bat. Alongside the bats, my custom drawn graphic logo was also chosen for the entire collaboration to be used on Golden Goose custom merchandise and all the custom gear. With less than two weeks to prep, sketch, and paint, it was definitely a fast-paced but unforgettable experience.

THE BASEBALL BATS
Inspired by the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, I designed my first bat as if you were looking through one of the bridge towers. From all angles, you can see different perspectives - one side showing the opposite tower, the other side the land across the bay. I layered in graffiti tied to Willy and GG, with area codes and a classic saying that brings the story full circle.
For the second “Love” bat design, I drew inspiration from San Francisco’s classic architecture. Instead of a literal heart, I wanted to portray love through the windows of a home. Each window reflects a form of love connected to Willy: love of country (Dominican flag), love of family (a depiction of his own family), and love of sport (baseball gear on the sill).

Alongside the bats, my custom drawn graphic logo was the sole design chosen for the entire collaboration. It appeared on custom Golden Goose apparel - including the jacket and shirt Willy wore for his Players Weekend entrance seen on the MLB's social media - as well as on all the custom gear designed by the GG team: bats, glove, belts, leg guard, and cleats.
